Egypt: Project Amun

Pioneering Green Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Projects in Egypt

We are currently studying various strategic locations throughout Egypt as that, combined, have the potential to generate up to 7,600 MW of renewable energy. This capacity, in turn, will support the production of approximately 330,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per annum—an ambitious project that is essential for achieving global climate objectives.

This framework agreement marks a significant milestone in our journey towards decarbonisation. It not only aligns with our commitment to reducing carbon emissions but also promises substantial social, environmental, and economic benefits for the people of Egypt. By harnessing the country's abundant renewable resources, we are contributing to a sustainable future while supporting local communities through job creation, infrastructure development, and increased energy security.

Our collaboration with the Egyptian government reflects a shared vision of a cleaner, greener future. This project is more than just an energy initiative; it represents a transformative step towards a low-carbon economy. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and sustainability, ensuring that our projects deliver long-lasting value for both the planet and the people of Egypt.
